2s & 4s is at the forefront of the new wave in improvised music. Founders Matt Parker (tenor saxophone) and Julio Monterrey (alto saxophone) grew up together in Miami, Florida and have been playing and performing together for more than a decade. Providing the harmonic and percussive glue that herds the madness of 2s & 4s are Ariel de la Portilla on bass and Mikkel Hess and David Mason on drums.
